6th week

Hi guys!

This week we have dedicated Educational Planning classes to design our own PBL (Project Based Learning). Our group will do it about 'Masterchef', in which we will focus on activities through which children will learn to eat healthy. Teacher has showed us examples of PBLs and we will try to make ours perfectly, since if so, teacher will use it to do it in real schools. 

We are working hard on our project, in which we will encompasses subjects such as Natural Sciences, English and Physical Education.

Hello everybody!
This week we have summarized a serie of articles that must be followed in order to be a teacher. Subsequently, we had to expose them in fornt of the class. Some of them are the following:

The first article says what we have to follow when giving a subject in English, and the second one is about the integration of all students regardless of their lack of skills or lightness to complete tasks.

4th week

Hi everybody

This week was brilliant, during this week we was organizing many differents tasks like podcast or pbl.
In class , teacher show to us many differents videos about differents kind of teaching and during the class we was talking about it , and how it could help students.In fcat i was so interested of many teaching styles , not only one , because i believe that the perfect teacher has to know how to teach and how he has to personalizes her or him teaching styles.

About of this , from my point of view , a primary teacher should have to give more freedom to the students , because if sometimes students have to find the information , is possible students use lot of keys , and all of this keys help students in the future.

Finally , every teacher have to know her or him teaching stryle and how he or she can mold it for the students.

3rd week

Welcome again :) !!
In week 3 we have learnt what a reflective teacher means. And… how do we become that?
For being a reflective teacher you have to observe and also evaluate our way of teaching on a regular basis and then ending with accountability.
The process in order to give a feedback and more reflections is :

What´s more, one of the main materials that can help to reflect is to have a teaching diary. With this  we can write what the day is going, as this example :

Furthermore, the teaching diary have to contain lesson objectives, activities and materials and classroom management.
Finally, we´ve read theories that shaped teaching and we´ve done a conceptual map with the main ideas of each one. Then, our classmates presented their works of Montessori , Rousseau, Vygotsky, Dewey, Pestalozzi and Froebel in class on Thursday 17. However ,  we´ve enjoyed doing this activity because we can learn and study clearly at the same time!!

2nd week

Week 2
In the 2nd week we started to explain in groups how can we be an effective teacher, which is something that the first  unit of Educational Planning contains . For us, the method used: explaining to each other different parts of the theme is a great way to save time because we don´t spend a lot of time reading and understanding each page.
What´s more, we found  a funny video that add to what we were reading new factors that are important too. As sharing is the art of living we´re going to post it!

To conclude this week, after searching and reading more information, we think that as the book has mentioned: the most important factor to be an effective teacher is to be ENTHUSIASTIC about what you´re teaching because you can encourage your students more effectively!

1st week

We are a group of 4 people whose name is On Wheels and our intention is to post a weekly summary of our progresses in Educational Planning.

Firstly, during this week we have watched a video in which we saw a father with his young son living in a monotonous and routine world. This child was a creative person and he loved artistic things such as drawing or music. Nevertheless, the world where he lived did not allow this creativity and his father wanted him to focus on his studies. This caused sadness in the child so his father decided to break the rules and satisfy his son despite not following in the footsteps of the rest of society. This story shows us a society that only aspires to study and work and makes us reflect on our real world.

Another activity has been to create these groups for class excercises. We will have to cooperate with our classmates in order to realice tasks that will teach us new skills.
